The top part only of this unique British fuze; The No. 200 was the first clockwork fuze and a direct copy of the German DoppZ.16 and DoppZ.17 fuzes, it was developed in 1917 from captured German fuzes and probably didn’t see active service in WW1.
This top partly strips with the brass ring dropping down, which is the action when it’s fired and the sharp steel pins lock into the brass base which saves the time setting.
Photos of a complete No. 200 are shown, but NOT FOR SALE!
Will combine postage where possible for multiple purchases.
PLEASE NOTE: WILL SHIP TO UK ADDRESSES ONLY.
