Nice brass case measuring 40x157R, has the following headstamps '2Pr NoI MkII Lot854 RLB N 1941' with struck original No27 primer also dated 1941. Projectile is an unfired, inert, empty HE type which has various faint stamps remaining including '2PR' and 'N' etc. The fuze is a fired and recovered No 243 which is well marked 'No243 II N VAEL 1941 999TAW 10/41'. It has no internals or end closing disk. Being fired the threads were stripped so have been filled off. This means that the fuse sits in the projectile albeit very securely. Part of the lower rim of the fuse also sits a little proudly but overall it's OK to leave 'as is' or it is easily replaceable if you have a spare. No base plug in projectile. All components are totally inert. The projectile is tightly gripped in the case.
Condition as per images above. Second Class Small Parcel postage to a mainland UK postcode will be £3.50.
