Inert, steel cased Luftwaffe 2cm Minen-Ubunggeschoss Practice HE round. Case headstamps read 'rrm 342 44' with an electric primer. (For use in synchronised guns.) Grey laquered steel case has a couple of dings at the mouth (see second and fourth images above) and is a very tight fitting on the projectile which is why the projectile sits high in the first and second image. The projectile will push in to the case but I have left it unseated so I don't have to pull it apart again for shipping. The Minen-Ubung projectile has an unfired copper driving band with a steel fuze 'plug' marked 'AZ1502 1 02 42' and some original grey paint remaining. It still has the original inert filling and the spacer washer which sits between the projectile body and fuze/fuze plug and is often missing.
Condition as per images above. Second Class Small Parcel postage to a mainland UK postcode will be £3.50.
