This fired No. 221B Mk4BE is dated 4/55 and made by BM. It was filled at Chorley (CY) in 11/55. Although used on the 25-pdr Smoke Base Eject shell, this example has stripped threads from the fuze being blown out, as well as a slightly skewed nose cone after an impact. It hasn’t been stripped.
This LOT also includes the storage/transit container, made of tinplate, which is probably why I’ve never seen one before! It’s in good condition with clear stencils:
“1 FUZ No 221B MK7” and “7-CY-3-73” and embossing on the base:
“CYL 689 MK1” and “ADC 1972” and “24” in a circle.
Will combine postage where possible for multiple purchases.
PLEASE NOTE: WILL SHIP TO UK ADDRESSES ONLY.
