Offered for sale here is a 1943 dated British 6Pdr 7cwt Tank/Anti-Tank Gun AP-T round. Brass case measures 57x441R and headstamps read ‘6Pr 7cwt I Lot81 VATV CF 1943’ with a struck, 1943 dated No15 primer. Projectile is unfired and an armour piercing tracer type which is faintly marked 'AP 6Pr 7cwt VI T 12/42' on the body and 'CAL1' on the driving band. The projectile has remains of a red painted body with overpainted blue tip which was done a long time ago. I think the body colour and CAL1 stamp indicates it passed through the came from the FVDRE facility at some time in its life. The brass case is in nice condition with just a small dent (2nd and 4th images above) and it tightly grips the projectile in the correct position.
Condition as per images above. Courier to a mainland UK postcode will be £10.00.
